The Diaper Wagon Review & Giveaway

I just adore this Leslie’s Boutique diaper bag they sell at The Diaper Wagon. As cute as the diaper bag is, the item I absolutely fell in love with is the Imse Vimse swim diaper. I don’t know how I lived the last 2 years without it!

I have always bought disposable swim diapers in the past and I am tired of throwing my money away! My son turned two a few months ago, so this is our third summer needing swim diapers. When he was really young, we would put a disposable swim diaper on him and sometimes he would only be in the water for minutes. Once my son was old enough to walk, he was constantly in and out of the water, so I would go through disposable swim diapers like crazy. Not only are the disposable diapers not eco-friendly but they are very unfriendly to your wallet! I was thrilled to put an end to spending money on disposable swim diapers and switch to the Imse Vimse swim diaper.

Aidan weighs 30 lbs so he could probably fit into two different sizes of the Imse Vimse swim diaper at this point. I went with the super large swim diaper so he would have room to grow into it. This diaper fits him great. He definitely has room to grow with this diaper but it still fits well to his body. This diaper is very easy to put on because there are two snaps on the right side of the diaper. The diaper is also very thin, so Aidan is very comfortable wearing the Imse Vimse swim diaper. When I first put the diaper on him, he ran around the house and then started to play with his trucks. I think he would have played in it all day if I hadn’t taken him outside and gotten it wet! The performance of the diaper has been wonderful. Aidan has experienced no leaks. The thin material also allows me to easily put his swimming trunks on over the diaper if we choose. Aidan has very fair skin so I am thrilled with the ability to put his swimming trunks on over the diaper. This allows me to have Aidan swim with his swim shorts and swim shirt to protect him from the sun as well as wear his Imse Vimse swim diaper.

We have had several weeks straight of hot and humid weather here in Wisconsin, so Aidan had fun running in the rain on a hot summer day sporting his new swim diaper from The Diaper Wagon. Aidan has the Imse Vimse yellow sea animal pattern swim diaper. I think this pattern is very cute and as an added bonus it is gender neutral as well!
