My name is Angela and I started The Children’s Nook after the birth of my first child. I have a Master’s degree in school counseling k-12, but currently am enjoying being a stay at home mom. I also have a background in childcare. I created this blog to combine two great passions of mine. My love of children and books. Throughout my experiences in childcare, schools, and home, I have gained first hand knowledge as to what books truly capture children’s love and attention. When I became pregnant with my son, it became my personal goal to build him a great children’s library. I wanted to start this blog to share my book knowledge and hopefully discover great children’s authors as well as other great family friendly products. While being a stay at home mom I have also become a deal seeker and like to share fun new products I discover as well as deals and freebies. The Children’s Nook has turned into a guide to great children’s products, deals, freebies, and a must have book of the month. Enjoy!

Hi I just found your blog recently and I love it! I love your goal of building your son a great children’s library, what a wonderful gift, I think beside spending quality time with our children, giving the gift of books is the best thing we can do for them. Looking forward to following your blog
Hi Angela! Loving your blog! Just want to let you know I doubled up on entries to Happy Baby and Bedtime for Mommy. I didn’t see your last post on your old site that you would be keeping track of comments from both sites! So, I reentered (and might have added some on your new site!). Please delete as necessary! Sorry!

Hi! Love your blog – I’m also a stay at home mom – after being a school counselor, as well.
Enjoy your book reviews – also love reading with my 1.5 year old son!
