Would you like to give a room in your home a new look but don’t want to spend a fortune? You may be surprised how adding and updating one item in a room can completely change the look of the room. Why not add a fabulous rug to your room? Mohawk Home rugs are great quality and will change the look of a room. I recently replaced the rug under our dining table with a new Mohawk rug, and it simply brought the room to life. My wood floors look richer and my dining room table looks much nicer as well. It was a wonderful surprise to see how simply changing the rug in the room gave the entire living space a better look. Our Mohawk Home rug truly changed the look of our room for the better!

Mohawk Home not only offers area and accent rugs in a wide variety of beautiful patterns and colors but they also manufacture doormats, kitchen rugs, bath mats, and rug padding. We are quite happy with our Mohawk Home rug. My three-year old was amazed the first time he stepped onto our new Mohawk Home rug. He told me our new rug is really soft and squishy. He loves wiggling his toes in the rug because it is so soft! If you are looking for a stylish rug that will also provide a soft surface for your feet and/or your children to sit and play on, Mohawk Home rugs would be a great choice.

Mohawk Home rugs are available in a variety of beautiful designs and the quality of the rug will bring warmth and life to your home.

Johnson’s Baby Creamy Oil Gel and Johnson’s Baby Creamy Oil with Cocoa & Shea Butter are the perfect ways to lock moisture in and pamper our skin this winter. These new products are consistent with the quality I have come to expect from Johnson’s Baby products. Both the Johnson’s Baby Creamy Oil Gel and the Johnson’s Baby Creamy Oil with Cocoa & Shea Butter have a very mild scent that I really enjoy. It is not overpowering so your baby will not be overwhelmed. These products have been perfected to be safe for a baby but their effectiveness is not limited to just baby skin. I have personally used both of these products and absolutely love them.

The Shea butter is very creamy when applying it to your skin. The creamy texture feels great during application and leaves your skin feeling extremely soft. The best part is that it leaves my skin with just a hint of that sweet soft scent. This fabulous Creamy Shea Butter is a clinically proven mildness formula that has been Dermatologist and allergy-tested. This leaves me with no worries when applying this creamy texture to my children’s sensitive skin.

I really like the Johnson’s Baby Creamy Oil Gel with Shea & Cocoa Butter because it is not super watery. It truly has a little more of a gel consistency when coming out of the bottle, and it applies on the skin easily. I love using Johnson’s Baby Oil Gel to give my baby boy a massage before bed. I have also used this on my baby boy’s soft skin after his bath and on my not so soft skin after a shower. The Johnson’s Baby Creamy Oil Gel left our skin with a healthy glow. This product is a fabulous way to keep dry skin away during the dry winter months because it locks in up to 10 times more moisture on wet skin than a regular lotion can on dry skin.

JOHNSON’S Baby Creamy Oils are great for pampering any skin, and don’t forget the baby oil gel is perfect for massages as well! Looking for a great gift idea for your Valentine? These shea and Cocoa Butter products would make any Valentine feel relaxed and pampered. Have a happy Valentine’s Day!

Buy It!

You can purchcase Johnson’s Baby Creamy Oil Gel and Johnson’s Baby Creamy Oil with Cocoa & Shea Butter for the suggested retail price of $3.99. I find this to be a great price for the quality of these products. In fact, I used to spend much more than this for shea butter moisturizers for myself, and I find that my son’s Johnson’s Baby shea butter workes just as well on my skin. I hope he doesn’t mind sharing with mommy!

Blip Toys recently introduced a line of teeny tiny toys that are squishy and cute. Squinkies Zinkies are a mini version of the ever so popular Squinkies. Squinkies Zinkies have the same attention to detail that regular Squinkies have, it is just that Zinkies are much smaller. In fact, they are smaller than the tip of your pinkie finger! Squinkies have earned many awards since they were launched in 2010 and after watching my son play with Zinkies for hours on end, I will not be surprised if Squinkies Zinkies earn a few awards themselves in 2012. There are currently 6 unique sets of Squinkies Zinkies that include 12 exclusive Zinkies. For a little added excitement 4 Zinkies in each set are hidden in colored balls, so your child will get four little surprises when he or she opens them up!

We have the Squinkies Zinkies Blocks and Mushroom sets. These teeny tiny toys are quite fun because each set comes with a squeezer and a magnifying glass for you to handle the Zinkies and look at the details of each little Zinkie’s face. The Zinkies come in a variety of colors and animals. They are quite cute and some of them are even sleeping!

Since Squinkies Zinkies are very small toys they are recommended for children 4 years of age and up. Zinkies may be small, but these toys will not be forgotten. My son is a few months shy of 4 years old and he absolutely loves his Squinkies Zinkies. He refers to his Zinkies as his friends. My son even named his purple Zinkie duck after himself. Recently he even started requesting snacks that he could share with his Squinkies Zinkies. Apparently, his Squinkies Zinkies really like eating cereal!

My son plays with his Squinkies Zinkies everyday. They are very small, so we keep all of his Squinkies Zinkies in a sealed bag when he is not using them. When his baby brother is awake, he simply plays at our kitchen table so his brother can’t reach any of the pieces. Our house feels a bit like toyland after just celebrating Christmas and my youngest child’s birthday, so I have to admit that I was really happy to see my son enjoy these toys that take up so little space! Zinkies truly are teeny TINY, but they result in hours of creative play and BIG fun! My son and his Zinkies have a new adventure every day. Today he organized his Zinkies by color. When his Zinkies get “tired” he places them in their plastic balls and they become a whole new toy!

Valentine’s Surprise is yet another adorable book by Corinne Demas and R. W. Alley. Last October I featured Halloween Surprise. My son still loves to read that book, so when I discovered that wrote a Valentine’s Day book, I was eager to get my hands on Valentine Surprise. I was curious to see if this book was as sweet and fun as Halloween Surprise. I am happy to report that this story does not disappoint.

Since my son is such a big fan of Halloween Surprise, he was thrilled to receive Valentine Surprise. Both of these stories involve a sweet little girl named Lily. Valentine Surprise starts out with Lily checking the family calendar and realizing Valentine’s Day was only a week away. Lily spends the entire week secretly creating the perfect Valentine for her mommy. I don’t want to spoil the end of this book for you by telling you how it ends, so I will just say that the end of this story is absolutely precious. I love this story because it reminds me of how special each and every child is and it simply melts my heart! This book will truly make the sweetest Valentine for any child. Happy Valentine’s Day!

Have you ever received a handmade gift that looked amazing and thought that must have taken so much hard work and creativity? I know I have had that thought many times and it usually was followed by the thought, “I would love to try making something like that but it would take me too much time and it will never look that good”. Well, I am happy to report that the company, Stampin’ Up!, was created by yet another amazing woman and this brilliant company will provide inspiration and creativity that will result in you creating some amazing handmade items you will be proud to share with everyone!

Stampin’ Up! truly inspires creativity. I am fairly inexperienced when it comes to most craft activities. However, I found Stampin’ Up! products to be so easy to use that I quickly gained confidence and found myself having fun and eager to try more.

The Stampin’ Up! cookie stamps are absolutely amazing and extremely kid friendly! My three-year old is able to stamp cookies without any assistance from an adult. I simply showed him how to rub a small amount of flour on his stamp before he stamped each cookies and he never had a problem with the cookies dough sticking to the stamps. The Holidays Sweet Pressed Cookie Stamp set from Stampin’ Up! comes with a pumpkin, heart, and snowflake stamp. You simply place whichever stamp you would like to use on the rubber base and you are set to go! We have already used the snowflake and heart cookie stamps when making peanut butter cookies.

Stampin’ Up! also has a great selection of products to help you create cute and fun packaging for your delicious creations! We used the homemade wood-mount stamp to create a fun message on our packaged cookies. We then used our scallop circle punch to create custom tags for our packaged cookies. I used a standard hole punch to create a hole in each tag and then ran our Stampin’ Up! baker’s twine through the hole and tied it around each box.

The heart cookie stamp is a fun and easy way for your children to create a special handmade gift for their grandparents, teachers, friends, etc. The possibilities are endless. Who wouldn’t love to receive such a sweet treat made by you or your child?

Buy It!

We use Pampers Kandoo products everyday at our house. We go through their wipes pretty quickly, so whenever I find a good sale I try to stock up on their wipes. Since Target often puts items on sale without featuring them in their ad, I thought I would give you all a heads up about a great deal on Pampers Kandoo wipes at Target. Now through Saturday, February 11, 2012 the best pricing on flushable wipes at Target can be found with the Pampers Kandoo 150 count package and the Pampers Kandoo 400 count package. Of course, prices may vary at each Target, but if you are shopping at Target it may be a good idea to check out the Pampers Kandoo wipes!

• The 150-count package – which comes with a FREE TUB – is $1.00 off.

The Cleava is a cami that snaps to your bra. The brilliant part of this cami is that it is so versatile. This Cleava is in fact a v-shaped garment that gives the appearance that you are wearing a cami for a stylish layered look. However, since the Cleava is truly a small triangular shaped fabric, it allows you to quickly add or remove the Cleava to any top or dress. You simply snap the Cleava to your bra and you now have a new look. No straps to slip off your shoulders and no cami creeping up your abdomen!

After becoming a mommy, I soon discovered that a lot of my tops would get pulled down while holding my children. I stopped wearing a lot of tops I really like or was forced to layer my shirts with tank tops. When I came across the Cleava, I knew that this was the perfect solution for my tops that showed too much cleavage if not paired with a tank top. The Cleava is available in almost any color you can imagine but I chose to get my first Cleava in black. I am really happy with the Cleava. I found my classic original black Cleava could be worn with almost anything. The one clothing item I found that did not work so well was the dress pictured below. The material is extremely thin and you could clearly see my Cleava underneath the material. However, if that thin material had been a darker color, you would not have seen the Cleava. Having only one clothing item in my entire closet that is not compatible with my Cleava tells you just how versatile this cami can be.

The Cleava is functional in so many different ways. If you are planning on heading to a social function after work, and don’t want to have to stop home and change. You can simply wear the Cleava under your top while at work, so your outfit looks more professional and conservative. After work, simply unsnap your Cleava and toss it in your purse or car and you will be ready for your social event in no time!

The Cleava is also great for nursing moms. You simply snap the Cleava to your nursing bra and put on a shirt for the day. Whenever your baby is hungry, you can easily unsnap your Cleava to create a comfortable nursing experience for you and baby!

The Cleava can also help keep you cool since you won’t have wear multiple layers of clothing. Whether you experience hot flashes or are simply going out in hot or humid weather, this feature could help you stay cool and looking fabulous! The Cleava is 92% polyester and 8% spandex, so it has a nice soft feel to it and best of all it does not wrinkle. The Cleava is machine washable as well making this cami extremely easy to keep clean and ready to wear.

Buy It!

You can purchase the Cleava online in a variety of colors and styles.

New York Color Lip Stain is one of my new go to product for lip color. Before I became a mom I often wore lip gloss; however, I quit wearing it when my first baby came along. Lets face it. Babies are just too kissable and lip gloss either leaves your lips and their soft skin sticky or you end up leaving a pink smudge on your little sweetie’s face! Whether you have young children or not, I can’t imagine any woman wants to beautify her lips just to have it completely come off once she kisses her man.

New York Color Lip Stain comes in a variety of great colors and lasts 16 hours, so you can have lasting color all day and into the late evening! These lip stains apply on cool and wet and dries onto your lips immediately. It almost feels like the lip stain evaporates right off your lips yet the great color remains! NYC lip stain is so light weight I don’t even realize I am wearing any lip color. What shade of Lip Stain would make your lips look absolutely kissable?

Follow New York Color on Twitter and Facebook to keep informed of sales, promotions, and new products introduced by NYC.

Buy It!

You can purchase NYC Lip Stain at mass merchandisers and chain drugstores nationwide. The Family Dollar in my city even carries NYC products! Go here to find a list of retailers near you that carry NYC Lip Stain.

I was provided NYC Lip Stain free of charge for review purposes. All opinions are mine alone and based off of my experience with the product I reviewed.
